Petra's new bedroom

So we decided to switch it up a bit: in hopes that Petra will begin to sleep alone, we gave her our bedroom. With a new bed (thank you Jeremy & Jenny!) and a few new decorations, Petra has a new bedroom. And so far, she likes it!

Decorating the DeMeo tree

Merry Christmas!

Presenting the first Spilman/DeMeo Christmas tree! Isn't she beautiful? I personally think she's a little too full... what's a girl gotta do to get a good old Charlie Brown?


Christmas tree: check. Ornaments? Well, we forgot about that part. Fortunately, Walgreens had a lovely selection of none other than Petra's favorite: balls! (Larry & Christopher: don't even think going there)




But then of course, the challenge was keeping the ornaments on the tree.

Maisy, again?

Petra's favorite literary character to date is a little mouse named Maisy. When the camera is not rolling, she searches for Maisy under every flap and says "nooooo." She's a little demure on film so listen closely for some quiet peeps.

Agora Christmas Party

Mommy and Daddy got all dressed up and went out for a night on the town. Christopher's company party is held every year at the Engineers Club in Baltimore, and it's a fancy pants big deal. I wish I had captured Petra's reaction to seeing us all dressed up! Thanks for babysitting Lacy!
